Growing up in Monmouth County, Rob Russo ‘00 remembers how often his parents stressed the importance of a quality education.

“Looking back now on my time at CBA, I understand more fully what they meant,” Russo said. “CBA had a profound impact on me, laying a strong foundation for continued academic, professional, religious, and personal growth.”

It is that impactful experience that led Russo to contribute to the ongoing Forever CBA: Securing Our Mission capital campaign.

Russo recently donated towards the new McKenna Hall project, having interest in the creative possibilities that the new building will provide for current and future students. McKenna Hall will be a functional, multi-purpose space for technology, arts and more.

“Participating in the Forever CBA campaign was a natural way to give back,” Russo said. “I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have attended CBA and feel a deep sense of responsibility to help CBA carry out its mission for many years to come.”

He appreciates, now more than ever, CBA’s commitment to a strong academic curriculum, teaching the Catholic faith, and providing its students with a moral compass.

Together with his wife Jacqueline, he established the Robert ’00 and Jacqueline Russo Endowed Scholarship at the Academy in 2017.

Russo currently works as the Senior Vice President of Neuberger Berman Investments Advisors. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame before earning his MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business.

He resides in Colts Neck, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
